I was in Amsterdam in October of 2000. I had passed through
so many times on my way to other places, I figured it was time I visited the
city. If you're an art lover, Amsterdam is a must see. The layout of the city
is very interesting too. Canals ring the city at ever widening diameters
from city center, and radiate outward from city center as well. Amsterdam, like
the rest of the Netherlands is full of environmentally-conscious people.
There are more bicycles here than autos. I enjoyed seeing the beautiful women
cycling to work in their skirts and dresses. The architecture here is interesting
too. I hope you enjoy my photos of Amsterdam.

The streets and canals are all very scenic, lined with trees and sometimes house boats. It's also a very clean city. |
